This 2002 Ocean Yachts 40ft Super Sport is powered by twin 450hp Caterpillar 3126b’s that have been fully rebuilt and are in excellent running condition. Total engine overhaul and rebuild included two new after coolers, new injectors, new heads, 1 new turbo and one rebuilt turbo. Starboard engine has 1,700 hours and the port has approximately 900. This popular layout has two staterooms and one bathroom. Features include a full clear enclosure for the Flybridge, a 15inch 7215 Garmin multifunction chart plotter display, Garmin 6kw high definition radar with 4’ array.

This Ocean Yachts bestselling convertible features a self-bailing spacious cockpit, with ample rod holders and tackle storage, engine room access, a tackle center, saltwater wash down and a gated transom door. She has two large staterooms, a galley-up interior and a ideally placed raised dinette forward in the salon. Her amidships master stateroom has ample headroom and a queen berth. Her fly bridge is comfortable and roomy for a yacht her size. She is in beautiful condition inside and out with shiny well maintained gel coat and a clean interior.



This popular layout has two staterooms and one bathroom. The teak interior is tastefully decorated and well finished throughout. A sofa is located to starboard. Located forward in the salon, a step up from the floor is a four-person dinette which opens up space for a huge amidships stateroom beneath this dinette with its surprising 7-foot headroom.  The teak interior is tastefully decorated and well finished throughout. The cockpit comes standard with a molded tackle center, engine room access, saltwater wash down, live well and transom door. It also features 4 Krystal plugs and a  live well. The fly bridge ladder is athwart ships. The bow features an integral bow pulpit and Lewmar winch and a 7 person life raft.

Cruise speed of 27mph burning a respectable 38 gallons per hour, and a top speed of 34mph. Upgraded 2kw in-hull transducer capable of seeing fish in depths of up to 2000 feet. Back up transducer, 2 stereos, Bahamas duty paid.

LAYOUT: The Ocean 40 Sport Fish was in production 1999 to 2005 and is equipped with an raised helm equipped with two Pompanette captain chairs and an L-shaped lounge with a table the helm is fully enclosed with white canvas. The windshield is equipped with an opening center vent. The helm is covered with a white fiberglass hardtop supported by the anodized aluminum of the tuna tower. The salon is down three steps with a built in L-shaped settee on the port side. The galley is down on the port side. The V-berth forward contains a double berth on the port side and a hanging locker. The head is located across from the galley on the starboard side and is accessed from the galley or the forward stateroom. The aft stateroom is down three steeps from the salon and is equipped with two single berths and a cedar lined hanging locker   HEAD: The vessel is equipped one head located on starboard side and contains a sink, 12volt Crown Raritan toilet and a shower. The shower sump is located under the floor with a 12V rule pump.   GALLEY AND COOKING SYSTEMS: The galley is located on the port side in the saloon and is equipped with a Composite sink, Princess 2 burner electric surface stove with a Goldstar Browher microwave built in cabinets, U-line model U-2175RFB-00 under the counter refrigerator with freezer and a U-Line icemaker.   AIR CONDITIONER: The system consists of one 16,000 btu Cruisair unit with digital controls located in the salon.The seawater pump is mounted on the port side in the engine room. The strainer and sea cock is bronze. The air conditioning system was functioning satisfactorily.     FISHING EQUIPMENT: The fishing cockpit contains a live bait well built in the transom, fish box in the deck, bait freezer built in port cabinet with a bait cutting station and tackle center. The outriggers are RUPP with gold spreaders; the tower is equipped with 10 rod holders with 6 in the cap rail and 4 in the fishing post mounted in the center of the cockpit.   VACUUM SYSTEM: The vacuum system is a built in Broan with receptacles forward and aft in the cabin the bag canister is mounted in the utility compartment under the salon.
