Good looking boat with a long foredeck and distinctive stepped sheer, the 48 Hi-Star is built on a modified-v hull. A stable ride and a large cockpit this boat is built for serious fishing and diving activities with a standard transom door. Extras wide side decks and a large fly bridge she is a dream to get around. She has a spacious two stateroom layout with a hand rubbed teak interior and the galley and dinette on a single level and separated by a stylish drum style serving counter. Wrap around cabin windows provide plenty of natural light and the Master Stateroom situated on the centerline forward has a queen island berth and guest stateroom furnish with over under berths. Powered with a pair of Caterpillar 3208TA diesels rated at 375 HP she will cruise at 19-20 knots and tops out at 22 knots. Neat and clean she is ready to go at an extremely attractive price. 

The salon features a generous all teak interior with leather sofa to port and matching leather settee to starboard, a hi-lo teak coffee/dining table, Also to starboard is a Custom "Hideaway" TV which recesses into cabinetry when not in use as well as a custom fixed table for work area or charting, Forward to port is a Full lower helm station and Salon visibility is 360 degrees.  There is a breakfast bar which justs out from the port side forward and separates the salon and galley but does not separate person working in galley from guests. The galley and lower helm are forward on the same level. The yacht features Carpeting in the main salon, teak/holly sole in the galley area and a teak and holly sole in the walk-way and head areas. There is fine lighter teak cabinetry and joinerwork throughout the boat and ALL in very good condition.

The engine room has two separate access points. The stairs going forward to the staterooms lift up and the engine room is easily entered though there. In addition, the salon has three large hatches in the middle of the floor when greater access is desired for more extensive maintenance. The engine room is fully sound insulated, features excellent access to the outboard sides of the main engines, aluminum flooring, and full stringer engine saddles and isolation mounts. The well designed engine room on this Hi-Star Convertible is very impressive. Access to reverse cycle air conditioning with separate controls for salon and staterooms.
