"Every owner likes to own a boat that he can be proud of. Aesthetics, workmanship, personality and even resale are considered in the boat. We chose Sparkman and Stephens to design this flexible yet new boat design. Sparkman and Stephens were not only very excited in designing this boat concept but actively follow through by working with each customer to make these boats truly personal statements." The Sequin 44 hull was hand laid-up utilizing foam coring above the waterline and a solid glass hull below the water line. The original hull was delivered with a gel-coat finish and has since been painted with Awlgrip. Utilizing modern build practices at the time of build along with strong adherence to the designers, Sparkman & Stephens, layup schedule the hull is exceptionally well built and proven hull.
